Brewbaker Middle School

       2015-2016

Dear Parents and Students:

Welcome to Brewbaker Middle School. We hope that your year with us will be educationally profitable for you.

Middle school is a time of change. The workload and social adjustments are greater here than at the elementary level. You will be expected to attend school regularly, complete all assignments, and behave appropriately. Your year will be exciting and filled with many new opportunities.

Enclosed you will find five very important sources of information: (1) parent-teacher handbook, (2) school procedure and discipline plan, (3) calendar of school events, (4) daily schedule, and (5) notice of receipt. Your parent or guardian must complete the notice of receipt, and you must bring it with you on the second day of school. This is imperative. Completion of the form is required by school and district policy.

Read all items carefully. Students are responsible for knowing the contents of their handbooks.

Bus schedules are printed in the School Zone on the MPS website: www.mps.k12.al.us.

Upcoming school events will be posted on Brewbaker Middle School’s website: http://www.brewjr.mps-al.org/

Good luck this year at Brewbaker Middle School. We hope it will be your most successful year ever.

In an effort to improve system practices, Montgomery County Board of Education is asking that parents complete surveys in Advanc-ED Survey System (ASSIST).

The surveys should be completed by May 30, 2015.  We realize some parents may not have access to a computer at home, therefore, Brewbaker Middle School has on-site computers to use to take the survey.  Please be assured that your responses to these surveys will be anonymous and appreciated.  Thank you for your time and attention to this matter.  The access link is:
